[Designated National Cultural Asset]

Masatsune Matsumura who was a civil servant designed the school and other buildings of schools and hospitals. Two buildings of the school became the first wooden buildings built after WW2 which were designated as National Cultural Assets in 2012. During the long school holidays study tours are organized for visitors.
