In late March till early April every year since 2012 (Heisei Era year 24) this doll festival display on the street has been the main event for the community by the inhabitant of Mushiroda area located in the mountain valley of Hizuchi district. Approximately 30,000 Hina dolls are displayed in the community center, on the streets, at the local Shinto shrine and other places. Visitors enjoy looking at the well displayed dolls as well as the spring mountain scenery.
