Pseudotachylite

Location:2-83 Ohshima, Yawatahama, Ehime, Japan

“Pseudotachylyte” is called “a kind of fossil layers made with earthquake force.” Solid rocks were rapidly destroyed by an earthquake to turn Pseudotachylyte.
Pseudotachylyte of Oshima Island is large enough to have scientific value and highly evaluated. It is a designated national natural treasure.
