Shikoku-yama Reijo (Holy place)

Shikoku-yama Mountain is found in the middle of Yawatahama. It has a walking trail along the ridge that takes after the Shikoku Pilgrimage of 88 holy places. The second tallest statue of Kobodaishi (the monk who opened the pilgrimage) in Japan and a monument of ex-Sumo wrestler Asashio are placed along the trail.
