Former Library

Location:94-18, Yawatahama, Ehime, Japan

Designed by Masatsune Matsumura this former library was built in 1951. When the building was relocated to the present location, its plan was turned from side to side. Matsumura’s philosophy in his design of Hizuchi Elementary School can be seen in this building, too.
